Description
Although the main focus in this photograph is not the female elk in the background or the female pronghorn antelope in the foreground to the right, they are there. What I wanted to share on this particular day was the beautiful landscape around me, and to capture a fabulous June day along the SouthFork Road for others to enjoy.

You captured atmospheric perspective beautifully. There was no haze and it was dry, but the differences in scale is obvious, starting with the grass in the foreground, the nearly imperceptible antelope, the ever-larger hills, the huge area covered in shadow from a cloud, until finally reaching the snow-crowned mountains. And of course, the clouds that are so beautiful in the mountains cap it all off.
